Our mission at Bee Grounded is to inspire a deeper connection to nature by encouraging the use of environmentally friendly, reusable alternatives to everyday single use plastics.
Through every product we create, we aim to challenge the disposable mindset and support a shift towards habits that are healthier for both people and the planet.
Our story
Bee Bags were created in 2024, born from founders Savannah and Cornelius’s search for a way to keep their homemade sourdough bread from going rock hard just two days after baking.
After testing a handful of techniques with little success, they had an idea: what if they coated a cotton tea towel in beeswax? Savannah picked up some beeswax, grabbed a tea towel, and got to work.
To their surprise, it worked! The bread stayed fresh – its crust crisp and soft on the inside. Excited by the results, they began refining the product, experimenting with different weaves of cotton, types of beeswax and ways to keep the bag airtight – all in pursuit of the perfect balance between breathability and preservation.
What started as a kitchen experiment quickly became a passion project with a deeper purpose.
We soon realised that Bee bags could become a staple in every household – not just to keep bread and veg fresh, but to offer a beautiful, reusable alternative to cling wrap and Ziplock bags.
Terre Footwear started just as organically. Savannah was inspired by her partners love for being barefoot and grounding, to craft him a pair of leather moccasins. Using leftover leather from a previous DIY project, she spent hours designing, measuring and hand-stitching until the first pair was complete.
He wore them to a family dinner that night, and (perhaps fueled by wine) the family suggested they start selling them.
With the support of her partner and their family she got to work refining the design and testing sizing, then Terre Footwear was born: Handcrafted leather grounding shoes that reconnect you to earth with every step.

Hi! I’m Savannah.
A nature-loving creative with a passion for sustainability, longevity and living in rhythm with the earth. I have built a brand that reflects my values: intentional living, conscious consumption, and a deep respect for the natural world.
When I’m not tending to my bees or exploring the great outdoors with my partner, you’ll likely find me getting my hands dirty in our veggie garden.
These slow grounded moments are what inspired the products I create.
My hope is that everything we create helps you live a little more sustainably, a little more mindfully… and always, more grounded.
